I had made the decision to skip madden 25 on CG and wait for PS4. But I can't help but feel very underwhelmed. Madden could be an amazing game if they truly tried. I really don't know if they purposely hold back on properly blowing the doors off the game or if they simply don't have the talent to do it. I can't tell.

Ea won't post a 11 on 11 regular gameplay video because no one will be able to tell the damn difference between current and next-gen. I know everyone here is criticizing this marketing. But its the only way to hide all the flaws... which they are still doing a poor job of. They don't want you to see the game in regular motion because all you'll see all the same recycled animations, defense, sidelines, stat overlays. I bet they even kept the same crap jumbo tron graphics.... FIRST DOWN!! Please NFL save me from another 8 years of lazy, half-*** football. END THE EXCLUSIVE LICENSE.

Lol everyone is saying this doesn't look next-gen and comparing it to 2k. Next-gen 2k looks the same as current gen except for lighting, unless your watching a replay you can't see any noticeable difference. Now game play changes in 2k either.

This did very little promoting the ignite engine. It looks like the same old twitch madden engine, sliding feet, locking into position. I was expecting more but never really counted on it.

Easy now and don't use my post to think you can start saying things like this. You, entirely missed my point.

We've seen GC videos for years now, when had any of them looked like this? At best they are handicam shots until they get the game and vid capture. I do a little video editing, you know how long it would take someone to put that together?

My personal belief is this guy didn't even create these, they were given to him so he could put them on his Youtube channel because he has a big following. Has he ever confirmed he made these videos?

I don't mean to be a ***** and everyone is entitles to their opinion and it's your money as well . But come on people I was fooled for 7 or 8 years up until this year and didn't buy the game at all. Now I see what other's were saying about " if you don't like it stop buying it ". I don't like what they have done to my one time favorite thing to do from August till around April or May since 98, so I stopped buying the damn game. I mean look at this crap they are throwing at us and calling it gold. Some of you talk about how much you won't tolerate any more from EA and that if it continues you are going to stop buying the damn game. Then turn around and say if it wasn't for my Online League I would stop crap. If you want anything to change you need to take my advice and stop buying it I did and I'm reading these forums and thinkin man I'm glad I'm not one of those guy's anymore.

I still come on here to read what everyone thinks about the next Gen and try and catch a video that sparks some interest in this game on next Gen for me and it's just not happening. Why I hold out hope I will never know, but I know I won't be buying Madden till it changes and if it never does then I'm glad I like Basketball. Because 2K know's what they are doing over there. You guys should try and get into Bball and play some NBA, 2k looks like the same game on next Gen as well but like 2k does , it's going to be amazing to play.

Stop complaining and watch from the sidelines for awhile like I am. You'll be glad you saved the money in the end and if enough people blow off EA for a bit something is bound to change.

Based on what we've seen, not even worth a $10 upgrade.
I do find it funny that some of you think it will be any different next year. This is the engine they are using for next gen football, nothing will change.
The QB throwing animations are terrible.
If you purchase this game knowing it's barely an upgrade, then you do not have the right to complain. You are giving EA your money and that speaks volumes.
You want competition, stop buying it!
I love football, way more than basketball, but you think I'm going to give them $60 to play a mediocre football game...smh.

I think the video looked good. It's not on 2k level, but it looked nice. Madden just needs to be more polished and have more features. They just need to improve the presentation.

I understand what you are saying, I disagree that 2K's graphical enhancements are just lighting, I mean you can clearly see entirely new models for the players in the comparison pics.

But you are right in that the core gameplay isn't changing all that much, but the difference is that 2K's gameplay is much much more impressive and accurate to the sport than maddens. Madden desperately needed major gameplay upgrades that we aren't getting and it justifiably has people upset . 2K has earned the ability to focus more on graphics than gameplay for their first next gen game.
