I'm done trying to defend the game when I've already explained exactly why I'm so optimistic for the future. You guys will be the ones eating humble pie this time next year. I have 99.9999% confidence in the future of this game based on what I've heard from those who have direct conversation with the devs and have seen what's coming in the future. Just watch what happens, it will speak for me.

So you're just okay with them lying to everyone about what we saw at E3? You still want to give them the benefit of the doubt for next year and beyond? When for 9 years now we've been doing just that?

If you love madden, more power to you. But to keep defending a company that keeps letting us down each and every year is just mind blowing. A very small percentage of us have any hope for next year. Madden 15 is our breaking point, if that's not the true next gen game we've been waiting for I guarantee Madden won't see our money again for a long time. While we want a good game, barely any of us have faith EA will deliver. They do nothing but disappoint with this game

If you know people that have seen what EA has for the future, it's even more clear that EAs logic is minimal improvements on a yearly basis. Maybe the E3 video we got is from a future version of madden.

I explained in a previous post the other day exactly why I'm positive and why I'm set on Madden 15 blowing everyone away and how if it doesn't ill be joining the Titanic with the rest of you guys.

We have been on the Titanic for 9 years and have hit every iceberg in the ocean. Every trip a bunch of people die and we wind up shivering on the lifeboats with you telling us you can't wait for the next cruise, it's going to be GREAT! Next years ship is going to have "True Berg" technology, the hull is making 150 calculations per second...

You really think Tiburon will give us the true next gen game next year? I don't think so bud. They have to fix the commentary, kicking game, AI logic, physics, presentation, core gameplay, etc...... I mean the list goes on.... It's going to take them years to fix the things I personally want fixed. I'm sure plenty of others agree with me as well. You guys are expecting too much just after a yearly cycle. They can only do so much. Just rent the game for the next three years, and then think about buying it the fourth. I am so confident that Madden will be close to the game we want by then. By that time, they will be used to the hardware and really do something with the game. I'm hoping at least.....

Oh, so another guy telling us to wait 3-4 years, when we've been waiting 3-4 years the entire life cycle of the PS3 and Xbox 360.

No thanks, they have next year to prove something to me. If they can't get it done, their fault and they will have more than a few lifelong customers gone. They have no excuse for this abomination they're releasing on the 15th.

We're tired of excuses, 3 year plans and promises of next year. Screw that. If 2K can make APF 2K8 in one dev cycle, and that game is still better than madden 25 next gen on the field, there is no excuse in the world that anyone can give.

after 9 yrs you would think people would get the message about Tiburon and ea.

I guess some people don't realize they're being screwed yet again.
I mean ea's been doin these guys without lube for awhile now. I guess they got use to the pain and just are taking it now. really sad in my book.

You can thank all of the whiners who complain about little things like uniforms not having a stripe and the color cleats a player uses. Too many people nitpicking on little things so that's what they fix first. If everyone would stay on the same page with what needed to be fixed, maybe we would get a different result.

Why EA went with Tiburon for their Next Gen product, I will never know. Absolutely, disgusting! Let's up hope EA doesn't get the exclusive license for this next gen. It is going to be long cycle if they do. I can already see that they ported the current gen title. I guarantee we will see the same no penalties, lifeless sidelines, and other legacy issues in this title. I honestly believe any other company would run circles around Tiburon.

You're missing the point entirely, this isn't a contest. We're consumers not cheerleaders.

We WANT to eat humble pie. I want to stick my face in that humble pie and slather it all over my head like a toddler.

The problem though is that it would be bittersweet, for a whole console generation they couldn't even come within striking distance of a game released in the PS2 generation, that is a stunning failure.

What's your rallying cry going to be? "You see, I told you so, here we are in the year 2017 and this game is better than that other game from 2004, why were you guys so impatient?? I was right all along!"

Hey I'm right there with you. I think that they definitely have to do something next year to prove to us that they're actually trying. One, those little things don't get fixed. Two, they're gonna work on art/uniforms no matter what. EA isn't pulling guys off the team that does animations to straighten out issues with jerseys & cleats instead.

I keep bouncing back and forth. I hated Madden, then lately and especially with the Next Gen stuff I started to think I will enjoy it thoroughly, then I read these boards and all I see is negative comments which remind me why I hated it for the past seven years.

But again, my point is that people like you (and pretty much everyone on this forum including myself) are in the minority. MOST people that buy Madden are not aware or do not notice the problems that are pointed out on this forum and think the game looks fantastic.

Most people never put together that all the new videos and information being released does not show actual gameplay footage.

I mean...
