I haven't played the game yet but Sim said when he played he felt all player movement was different not just those who had true step and you can tell that in these videos by QJB, there's next to no skating in them.

NBA 2k next gen is very close to a port of current gen, watch the gameplay videos, the game looks like cg with much better graphics.

They made a whole new engine for next gen.

Wrong on both accounts.

All-Pro Football 2K8 was made in 6 months.

Visual Concepts started working on it in full in January 2007, and the game went gold in early July 2007.

It was not a simple port of NFL 2K5, either. According to Greg Thomas, the president of Visual Concepts at the time

LBZrulez already told him that one, he chose to ignore him on that and will probably ignore you as well.

Truth be told none of us know what this game is or isn't. It was funny at first to read these post. Just don't buy the game. I wouldn't buy it but it's the only football game BS if you truly hate Madden don't buy it. Me myself I enjoy it for what it is. A videogame and all you 2k supporters 2k14 doesn't look much better in the gameplay screen upclose it looks good just like Madden looks good up close. Cartoonish have you seen the cg and ng comparisons of 2k those ****s look like cartoons. All fat and bloated. To each his own I guess but this ish gets annoying. Every time someone says they like the here y'all come like the anti-Madden crusade to stone them to death. You constant complainers sound like a bunch of Mitches

I'm thinking EA would've been better served not having a Next-Gen Launch title, and just postponing their first next-gen effort until next year.

They would've had more time to build from the ground up and install those "foundations" that jp is always ranting on about, PROPERLY.

Yeah honestly if you haven't played Madden 25 current gen, this could be a cool game for you. I think the rest of us should wait it out until Madden 15. If a significant jump isn't shown then, I say we all just give it up, because Tiburon doesn't have the skills to make the game they speak of, and the game most of us desire. There should be some signs of greatness in Madden 15. If there aren't, we know they can't do it.

Dude they haven't been able to do what a 10 year old game(2k5), on an older console did back then, what makes us think they will next year?? That's the sad part about all this..

Madden 10 was a good foundation.

Then Madden 11 came out and completely destroyed that foundation.

Foundations only work if they stay in place and are gradually built upon, not torn down and replaced with cheaper, shinier materials every year.

i definately agree. madden 10 was a great game and if they had built upon that model and had hopefully changed the player models we could begetting a different result now. but m11 and 12 was absolutely terrible. i traded my copy of madden 12 in after a month and voiced my frustration on their fb page back then. you dont build a decent sedan and then "rebuild" it with cheap plastic

the lead devs/designers change every few years, but it's been the same let downs from Tiburon since I've been on this forum (Madden 07)

I can't see Tiburon ever releasing a game that gives me the same "wow" feeling I get when I play a game from another genre/sport for the first time in years

You guys come across as a bunch of entitled spoiled brats. It doesn't look THAT bad compared to the state of the game 2-3 years ago.

2-3 years ago compared to Madden you are correct compared to other sports games by other Devs today it looks terrible.

I can't argue with that, the product can be questioned but the direction is what I'm always talking about. To me that is something that remains to be seen. If the product doesn't meet expectations it's up to you whether you buy it. However, some will buy the game this year just because of o/d line play and the realistic pocket forming. For others it will take an overhaul of animatitions, presentation etc, and for some, they will never buy it because of the letters E and A

That last sentence is BS. FIFA is amazing I buy it every year. The team that makes it has competition pushing them and they put out the best product possible.
