i think that if they can't give us a practice squad that next year they should give us 70 man rosters, like ncaa has. that code should be easy to transfer over to the game since it is already in the ea football engine somewhere. with 70 man rosters we could account for dudes on ir, long snappers, and have the guys on the practice squad as well. then just leave ir and ps guys off the depth charts and you can get accurate gameday squads...

That angers me more than EA leaving out players. In the past you were allowed to create a good amount of players.

would anyone be interested in a roster in xchange format with some of these changes? I've used existing players and matched up their size and age.

In previous Madden games I think you could create up to 55 players but if i remember right last years game it was like around 45 CAPS.

I was going to put out a list of everything that needs to be done after roster update but the list is so large, I didn't want to write it out.

Things EA needs to add to Madden Roster Department:

-expanded roster to 75( Ncaa 10 has about that)
-practice squad(need to be finalized by week 1 regular season)
-player database thru internet connection to swap in and out Free Agents
-Take things out like madden moments and extra BS to make more room for roster room
-I'll take 1 official roster update with everything in place then 1 every week that just add a player here and there

I hear ya, I was going to do the same thing, but there is so much that is 'off' that it's not even worth attempting. I also agree they need to do something to give the user more power to create/edit their own rosters.

LoL EA knows what they're doing, given us a little each year until the next console comes out and then they start from the bottom and so forth. It's like a pyramid, give us a little and little and eventually you get what you get.

I can't believe EA is still missing Lions FB Felton. He is the powerback and he got a ton of carries in preseason. He was also the starter last year until he got hurt. NFL rosters have been finalized and they are still missing players who have been there all along. Maybe some year the IR will work and they won't delete players who are on the IR or have to delete someone else so they stay in.

U also missed RB/FB Chris Taylor from NE.

And y is it that EA can get around minimum Requirements but we can 't. For Example Vikings are only carryin 8 OL + a LS and usually EA would put a Practice Squad to fill space this year they didn't but before this update when I tried to release 2 OL who were cut on cutdown day the f***in min. requirements come up WTF.

BTW y are LS never in the game they are part of the Team + the game has a position for them on Depth Chart just put them in for god sakes. The Game has 55 roster limit per team but i assume the 2 extra are 4 IR guys but EA only put around 50 on the team cause of no LS or the guys missin that were posted above.

YES. i do this as well. i just find someone close in age, size/build and has no picture. then just edit them into the guy i need. just got done turning f/a hb moore (i think he is on seattle practice squad in real life) into cb westbrook for the redskins...

umm no they cant get around the requerments we still have to sign a player to be able to play a game in franchise mode because it bitches we dont have enough RTs etc


but yeah right now for for example the vikings who dont have their LS it could easy be made in the game to fill up those slots I keep repeating myself about it but its just pure logic and common sense!

Is it possible in franchise mode to play every game? I simmed the pre-season and went to play a game and the other games prior to mines were simmed. I also have control of all 32 teams on.

Yes you can play every game, but this year you have to play all of the games in order for some reason.
