I tried to convert a Madden 17 roster file that is updated for the 2019-2020 season based on the off season. It loads fine and lets you check all the players in roster menu. Anytime you start a game it crashes though. Any Ideas?

Update only patriots, chargers, and panthers cause it to crash.

Update I cut a few players from those three teams and now all teams work. Only issue now it crashes when I end a game sometimes.

Make sure to auto-reorder the depth charts for all teams before starting a game. The game will crash otherwise. Hope this helps. I would be able to have a look at your file and give you more insight only until next week end.

Yes, more or less that is it.

You need to be careful regarding image properties (file size, file type, image dimensions, masks, etc.) to make it work. For example, the file size of the new image cannot be the bigger than the original file.

I did what you said and it still says the compressed data is bigger than the original one. Do you know what I should do.

Vita graphic mod anyone else have problem with buccaneers crashing? I have tried repacking files several times and it always crashes on bucs. Any ideas??

It says that because your replacement file is bigger than the original. Make sure to have (a little bit) smaller file than the original.

Hi guys. New to this but trying my best. Managed to get the roster update done so thank you for that. I’ve read all the read me and searched everywhere I can but cannot get the graphical patch to work. I have opened all decrypted files in the game app folder but can’t find the qkl_patch.ast file? Can anyone help me please?

It says that because your replacement file is bigger than the original. Make sure to have (a little bit) smaller file than the original.

Can it be too little or no and the dimensions for the new files are the Same for the original and the file size for new files are smaller than the original files

If any file fails to be repacked by the tool offzip it always shows the reason. If your new file is bigger than the original this tool even shows the number of bytes over the limit. The only way is to save a new (smaller size) updated file.

As I said before, to make a graphical patch, you need to take in to account different aspects carefully, it is not totally straightforward. Good luck!

ok, I'm only almost a year late.

I happily was playing with updated rosters since last year (even grabbed the 2020 rosters) and with all the excitement, I finally bothered with the franchise.

(I just finished the Longshot:Homecoming on Madden19, but I still haven't played a franchise on that either)

I noticed on the 2018SF franchise that it gets stuck on week 2, you can't simulate or play the next match, just keeps coming back to it. Now, I've gone back to the 2017 and it seems to be working. Obviously the 2019/20 season is almost among us but I can't be be the only 49ers player. I tried to see if I missed an update (I wished that people used more stickies instead of having to go through pages and pages to find the download).

I just wanted to put this here and say thanks to everyone for their effort, Madden 13 is the last handheld version of the game (until the switch version (still not announced)).

Fellow 49er player here I too had that happen, I just thought I did something wrong. Roster updates kept coming in so I just updated and played quick games.

so is the problem with the week 3 roster?

It could be for example that some teams are over the salary cap, then you cannot go on. That is only one possibility.

Ok, since I am not an expert and since I can't switch the cap off. I released all the people I could release and still keep the minimum team, it didn't advance.

Although I read on the internet that you can release them and hire them back cheaper, I'll need to look into this...
