my main gripe with this slider set is that it sometimes makes blaine gabbert look like aaron rodgers. im trying to tweak player qb accuracy, lower DPI, and increasing pass coverage for the cpu. Also trying to make pass blocking and run blocking for the CPU better. but other than that, these sliders are fun and fair. at no point have i felt like im being cheated, or im cheating the cpu. Also, not that many penalties, most of them come on special teams actually.

Re: Madden 25 CFM Realistic Sliders
These sliders have worked great unless there's a big gap in the team's overall. Against teams that are more evenly matched with my team, the games are nice and challenging. In my franchise mode, I've built the Titans up to 89 overall and the rest of the division is like around 80-81. I regularly kick the **** out of my division opponents by ridiculous scores (I beat the colts 84-3 for example).Comment

Re: Madden 25 CFM Realistic Sliders
Next time you play a team that is 2+ points lower than you in OVR, can you adjust either the player defense or CPU offense to get a more challenging game. Seems like your 89 OVR team should be higher than most teams to try this out. Make sure you get consistent challenge and let me know the changes and I'll plug em in.Comment

Re: Madden 25 CFM Realistic Sliders
I raised the computer WR catching and run blocking by 2 points each. That seems to be helping their offensive game significantly.Comment

I've played 5 games with the changed settings. There was one outlier (45-23) but the rest were one-score games.Comment

Re: Madden 25 CFM Realistic Sliders
I know this isn't the most current game. I'm still good with Madden25 so I haven't gotten the most recent game yet.
Anyway I'm finding that I disagree with the OP on how a few of the sliders work.
The OP says:
Interceptions - 19 (you see more INTs when lowering this slider)
Pass Covererage - 59 (Higher means worse coverage)
I'm finding that the opposite of what the OP has written is true
Interceptions - as this number increases then the chances of intercepting the pass increases. So increasing it for the "User" will result in "User" defensive players intercepting more passes.
Pass Coverage - as this number increases, the defense improves in pass coverage. Play a game where the CPU pass coverage is at 0. The defenders barely move other than dropping into their assignment and barely react to the offensive players until the ball is caught.
Pass Defense Reaction Time - I don't think the OP made a statement on it, but I have seen in other threads claims that as this number increases, the reaction of defenders improves. I find the opposite to be true. It seems to work as a delay. Thus, defenders react more quickly to the ball the lower the number is.
I've adjusted my sliders from the OP's to the following because it allows for the user to do more stuff like KR and controlling receivers after the catch. (Granted I don't do all the juke moves etc.) Stats are realistic and it is competitive.
League Settings (in Green are where my sliders differ from the OP)
Skill Level: All-Madden
Playcall Style: Gameflow
Quarter Length: 15 Minutes
Accelerated Clock: On
Minimum Play Clock Time: 11 Seconds
Game Speed: Normal
Auto Strafe: On
Heat Seeker: On
Ball Hawk: On
Switch Assist: On
Player Skill
QB Accuracy - 6
Pass Blocking - 15
WR Catching - 27
Run Blocking - 18
Fumbles - 41
PD Reaction Time - 38
Interceptions -19 (you see more INTs when raising this slider)
Pass Covererage - 59 (Higher means better coverage)
Tackling - 38
CPU Skill
QB Accuracy - 27 (
Pass Blocking -66
WR Catching - 50
Run Blocking - 80
Fumbles - 44
PD Reaction Time - 60
Interceptions - 35
Pass Covererage - 85
Tackling - 65
Special Teams
FG Power - 55
FG Accuracy - 37
Punt Power - 52
Punt Accuracy - 75
Kickoff Power - 52
Game Options
Injuries - 49
Fatigue - 64
Min Player Speed Threshold - 12
Penalty
Offside - 75
False Start - 75
Holding - 71
Facemask - 54
Defense PI - 25
Offense PI - 31
Punt Catch Interference - 90
Clipping - 57
Intentional Grounding - 75 (Increase if QB holds on to ball too long)
Roughing the Passer - 54
Roughing the Kicker - 75
With these sliders the CPU defense can rack up INTs against me so it makes me play a bit safer, not make as many high risk throws, thinking twice about throwing to a receiver that's low 80's or lower OVERALL. Even throw the ball away 3-7 times a game.Comment
