One suggestion I would have is to try to win auctions instead of buying out players if you can. That can save a lot of coins in the long run. For example, yesterday I won an elite Tyron Smith for 24k when the cheapest buy out was 31k

Since I've decided to wait on starting my connected franchise since I want EA to iron out the kinks I decided to play Madden Ultimate Team for the first time ever.... yea.

I played a CRAP-TON of Solo Challenges... those are interesting and even though they're easy they got me a lot of great practice in to get use to the game. I did the short pass solo challenges and won... not moving on to other stuff. I just don't really know what to do. I'm 2-1 in the head-to-head seasons but my loss came to a guy with Antonio Brown elite and he was just OP as hell vs my average joe of a team that has guys like Charles Tillman.

Does anyone have any advice on tips or ideas of what to focus on? I would like to focus on sets but they don't seem to be worth it... for example, I played one of the Legend challenge games and beat the Ravens for the Shannon Sharpe and I thought that if you beat them you would GET that legend, instead I unlocked 1 thing of 8 things you need to redeem him which is crazy in my mind. Same way in how do you complete the captain sets or stuff like that when in reality wouldn't buying the elite player you get from that be cheaper than buying all the players it would require to unlock it?

Also some tips on the auction market would be nice... in my 2 pro packs the 2 gold players I got was an Elite 87 OVR Jason Witten and Gold 84 OVR Larry Fitzgerald. Should I keep those guys, sell them (depending on since this is the early release of the game), or send them to my sets?

I'm trying to beat the style solo challenge so I can either sell Romo or actually have a starting QB that doesn't throw out of bounds every play.

Except I suck at the game and cannot beat the all-pro or all-madden CPU to save my life.

Just bought a Brent Grimes for 5k and sold him for 11k

Only have one more win and i get the double elite pack from Draft Champions. Hope I pull a Julio Jones, ODB, or 94 OVR LT. I dont want any olineman or anything like that haha

I pulled an olineman. I got a Brandon Brooks and my second card was a Mario Williams. So beefed up the lines. Ive also been working the AH all day and got up to 30k in coins.

Yea I told my self no more UT after Fifa and all the $ i spent. EA is smart tho with that Draft Champions and Solo Missions sucked me in spent $40 bucks today no Legends just the Badges but I bought the other cards I needed and now got John Elway. Also pulled an AJ Green so my team is pretty nice rn.

Double Elite is for the most part OL & DL. I was happy with mine got

Solo journey grind sir. I'm up to 245k off that and half of the style master complete.

Grinding this stuff out for the rewards are very very rewarding.

ugh too many quitters in MUT I just went 8-1 in the season, then won the superbowl, Im up 28-7 in the first half of the SB, and the guy throws his 2nd INT and quits...

I guess it's nice I won, but damn 1/2 my games ive won the person quit.

ugh too many quitters in MUT I just went 8-1 in the season, then won the superbowl, Im up 28-7 in the first half of the SB, and the guy throws his 2nd INT and quits...

I guess it's nice I won, but damn 1/2 my games ive won the person quit.

I'm not a fan of quitting, but at the same time if I'm blowing a guy out 35-0 in the 2nd quarter, I'd probably be like wtf if he didn't quit, like the seasons mode is about getting the wins so u can get coins and packs, it's not like sim ball or even about playing the games. It's just about the wins to get through each season to get the rewards.

Don't you get more coins if you hang around til the end? I had a win early that I got 52 coins for... 52... The guy quit on me.

I am so ****ing pissed at these Madden servers. Was just up 14-3 in the 3rd qtr in the Okoye legend challenge when I get hit with your connection to the EA servers has been lost this game will not count bull****.

So because your servers SUCK I get ****ing hosed!!

Edit: Got the badge on my 2nd try thanks to a sack/fumble returned for a TD. Ryan Kerrigan is a beast!!!

Haven't spent a dime yet, but I'm probably going to end up spending some coin because it's so hard to build a team. I'm horrible at working the ah, for example I got a guy for 2K and the next highest was 4.5K so I put him up for 4 K and then someone else posts him for 1.9 K lol so I lost coins on that.

Is there a beginners guide to MUT. I just opened up my packs and doing thr weekly challenge, but not sure what I should sell, if I should hold guys back to not use their contacts etc. Sorry if making clutter in this thread, just didn't want to start a new one. Thanks.
