topic guys, just barely getting started because i miss mut and now that i have alot of free time i might as well get started!

starting out, anybody got tips or cards to get me started? on PS4.

I believe the best way to develop a team is with a healthy o-line, Good 80-83 RB and the best secondary possible.

I would go to the auction house and try and get the o-line to 77-80 per position. CJ Anderson is a great cheap RB. Rated like an 82 and should be like 5k coins I believe. I would look for speedy corners in the 76-78 range to start. Safetys as well. Then just periodically go an upgrade WRs, QB, and such.

^This. The Solo Challenges really pile up the coins in a quick amount of time. Soon you'll be making 3,000-4,000 for a five minute challenge, or roughly fifteen minutes of game time for a decent Elite player.
