I don't know, but it seems like Sheldon Cooper has been telling them to do this all along.

The deal doesn’t finalize until next month let’s hope EA doesn’t get jealous and decide to buy them like what happened with Codemasters.

Give me All Pro Football’s gameplay with a cleaned up Backbreaker physics engine and a deep franchise mode, and I’d be set for life

A couple years after they bought them they shut down their original Oxford office and laid off / relocated everyone. Not sure how much NaturalMotion as we knew it factors into much anymore. They're running a couple mobile games (racing, Star Wars), and the last big commercial release they cite that used their tech was in 2018 (RDR2).

It doesn't seem like they're in the middleware business anymore, studio head only been with them since 2017, their site and job openings are all about their games, not Euphoria, etc.

Well they own the code now. I hope they know how to use it.

That would be dope with an updated graphics engine and NFL - branding + players.

Not sure if they can implement so deep in development or if it'll have any application in the upcoming game.

Another thing that we can only speculate on, but I'd definitely love to see it in-game.
