Has anyone tried editing playbooks?

I think running the same plays but being able to move players in different positions would be neat. Say putting Receivers in STACKED formations which is a man bump killer and is missing in the game.

I know you can edit where players stand in Tecmo Bowl in Hex editor maybe we can do the same here in All Pro. Also maybe the invent of speed sweep? wild cat?

As I said no 082BO here possibly due to only 9 created players on roster? I'll try the 17/18 numbers thing. Unless I'm missing something important? There are a total of 22 sets of double numbers. When counting to 17 or 18 am I counting each double number or each individually?

Each section. 00 00 00 would be 3 spots.

1) Am I in the right spot in Hex? Guesstimated based of chart in Page 13
2) Where do I changed the tier? I read where 22/24/26 is G/S/B but I do not see those numbers anywhere.
3) Yellow - Is this where I change the abilities?
4) Red - Is this where I change the speed?

Thanks! My goal is to change Silvers and Bronze CAPS to 5 abilities so if you can help me out id appreciate it!

1. Yes, you are in the right spot for a created player (whether it is the first created player in your file, that is not exactly clear).
2. The first 19 you see after all the zeros...go down to the next row and one space to the right. That 02 means that your player is a gold. If you replace it with a 04 or a 06 it will make that player a silver or bronze, respectively.
3. The yellow area you have selected is the correct area with the addition of the next space to the left of it (the 00 space). There should should be 13 total spaces for the abilities. The 01 is in the #2 space for example. This makes it easier when comparing it with the information Rocky has posted.
4. The red highlight is the space for speed.

Out of curiosity are you able to give CAPs abilities that were unavailable in game?

Like would I be able to give Favre Tough As Nails? Or Vick QB Evade? Or give Devin Hester Return Specialist, and still make him a WR?

Yes you can give players any ability that was not available in game. You can also give different positions different abilities that you couldn't in game as well. For instance, you can give a QB abilities for offensive lineman.

63 in hex = 99 in decimal. So, yeah, 99 is the highest speed you can give a player in the game.

It appears there is plenty of editing power that is already known/available. Once catcatch releases his video, I believe the programmer(s) can start work on APF Editor version 1. Then even guys like El Greazy can edit teams.

I now have an all cap team with 2/3/6 all with 5 abilities

If you set the entire pink area to 63 using the chart on page 13 wouldnt that make ur ratings all 99?

Also wats the code for QB Evade and Sissor Kick?

I got my Silver QB with Tough as Nails (Code was 2 08)

Im wondering this also, at 63 hex, 99ovr the QB runs a little bit faster then Steve Young. Still not a michael vick experience

I messed around with the caculater and found out FF is like 255 so I am going to try it wen I get home.
