Im not able to get any changes to names, photos or faces to work in the game using the ratesports file.

King Javo or anyone who can help please help.

I have tried over and over again to get my expanded Legends roster to work and have failed every time.

I am trying to add players such as Brett Favre, Deion Sanders, Terry Bradshaw etc.

Here are the steps I do to accomplish this.

1. Save roster onto an xbox 360 formatted USB drive.
2. Transfer roster to pc using USBXaft or whatever its called.
3. Open roster in KING JAVOs (The man) editor in OFFLINE MODE
4. Edit 3 created players that are assigned to my only user team(created in game not in editor) and change their names ,abilities, equipment, attributes, info etc. ( i do not change their tier or classification such as legend, created, generic)
5. I save the roster from the editor
6. I open roster in modio and click on save changes. (I do not find a resign rehash in modio 5.0)
7. I inject the new roster from modio into USBxaft or whatever its called to replace the old roster.
8. I load the roster on my xbox 360 and get the message "unable to load roster"

Can anyone help me out? Im really confused why its not working or what am i doing wrong. I really want to donate to KING Javo once I get my roster done as a token of my appreciation but I'm going crazy trying to figure out why it won't work. Any help from my fellow OS 2k members would be appreciated.

I don't believe I have used Modio 5.0 before, but you have to rehash and resign the file before trying to load it in the game.

Use Horizon instead of modio. See if that works.

Thanks! Do I need to attach my Hard Drive to my pc in order to use horizon? Ive never used it before.

It's difficult to find a version of Horizon without multiple adware services included. I'd suggest an older version of Modio. Plus it is a standalone program. It is much easier to use than the newest one. Everything you will need is laid out right in front of you.

Sorry not yet. That won't be a quick thing due to all the types of styles and there are still things missing altogether that are higher priority.

I'll put this request on the list for the future.

I figured out what I was doing wrong For season play..For season mode I had two teams with the same name Like washington,, And in the season mode it won't accept that for some reason,,, so I renamed the teams then I got in,,,Your editor gave sleep a whole new meaning.... GREAT JOB!!!!!

Whats up fellas? Noob here but i have a few questions that i need answers too and haven't been able to find them anywhere. Any help would be appreciated. Here goes tho....for starters whenever i make edits to my roster uses kingjavo's editor. Can i edit the generics names abilities and attributes in the editor and the changes go into affect in game without having to do anything else. Also whenever i do make edits to my roster and then upload it to my 360. The names of all my players change to symbols, numbers, and letters. This whole thing is whipping me right now lol.

Unzip it, launch the installer, finish the installation, no problem.
I set the *.exe to always runs as Admin so i don't get so think about it anymore. And launch the Editor.
It loads, open all good.
Then I drag any roster file :
- a default one created through the my xbox360
- a default on from somebody else who is not having trouble with the last version of the editor,
- a modifier roster that i already used previously with the previous version of the editor
- ...

And then comes the same message right there :
"File is corrupt. The Player Attribute Section is not complete or has inconsistencies" then "Could not open save".

So that is before the usual message "Would you like to edit ONLINE or OFFLINE" type.

I tried installing on another PC (Win7, never used for editing APF2K8 before) same problem.

And i repeat, there no change of configuration between using the older or the latest version.
I can come back to the previous version and it works like a charm.

Any ideas ?

That file corrupt error only happens when there something weird with your roster file.

I'm not understanding why a previous editor worked and now it's not working. Something must be off.

Can't think of anything that would fix your issue. Weird.

What is even more disturbing is that ANY roster file is considered corrupt. Even the default one generated by my xbox or the one from somebody else who is not having any issue...
