How to set up a QB to play and look real
I have searched the forums and i just want to know what you guys set your qb ratings at. Mainly pass read coverage (to me it should be high), Arm strength and ac, i'm fine with composure i set the same as my consistency. elite players get 90, very good 85, good 80, above av 75, av 70, just below avg. 65, and worst 60. In my opinion the NFL is a league of parity, therefore no one should have less than 60 of these 2 ratings, and i have a min of 40 for leadership). using this system for my consistency and composure ratings, tend to let the other attributes truly play their course. This really makes the difference between a lb with 82 agility and one with 72 obvious. I based the consistency and comp off of dan's rating somewhat. I'm still not sure about going above the 100 rating in finns editor (unless i have 2). So what i really need to know is i saw a post on here about someone using pass read coverage starting at 90 up to 127, anyone have any input on pass read coverage as well as the other ratings needed to make a realistic qb thanks a lot joshTags: None -

The trade off here seems to be for more realistic on field play by the cpu QB, and higher completion % and QB Rating, you need to push the main QB attributes over 100..and really into the 110-127 range.
However, this wreaks havoc with simmed stats. You'll have a ton of guys throwing for over 4000 yards, etc. I think it is almost a "pick your poison" type thing...do you want the game to look and play better on the field, or are simmed stats extremely important to you.
Lastly, raisng the QB ratings alone might help a bit, but other player rating changes are required as well...specifically the WRS, RBs, and DBs. Oh yeah, and a good playbook with fewer "never work" plays is also key.
