Make Your Own Action Replay Device . . .

This Is my first post, so first off whats up and thanks to all u 2Kers keeping this game alive for the 09. i figured i'd share this jewel, I have an orginal Xbox, and was looking to get the Action Replay, as you know the only place nowadays is ebay, but I came across this site while searcing http://www.hackosis.com/2007/09/24/x...replay-device/
Follow dude's instructions, it definitely works, I made my own last night, I used a Lexar JD Firefly 2GB as my USB Device, also he suggested scissors for the wire stripping, but I used a pair of wire strippers from the hardware store just to be safe, all in all, it cost me $15 for everything and took less than hour and a half to complete, definitely worth it as I'm enjoying an updated roster right now.

Hey, good to have another fan around.

Since you're new it would be good to know that talk about "hacking", "cracks", "pirating", etc. isn't usually good to do around OS.

    Have fun!

Just as cheap, and it comes with the 360 transfer device, along with the XBox AR cable and software.

I just read some of that article and it's probably just me but I would much rather spend the money on an actual AR as opposed to messing around with stuff I dont know about.

So, UO, you saying that this is all you would need for both an Xbox1 and a 360 for all of your transfer needs??

Great that it worked for you but I certainly wouldn't suggest it.You can buy an AR for around $25 so if you had to buy $15 of hardware and spent an hour and a half on it the only thing you saved was the couple of days it would take to get it shipped.

Well, it does not come with any memory cards, but comes with the cable for both the 360(white) and the XBox(black). Also, a disc which includes the software for each.

Then, I would think the AR card would work as well.

To use that 360 transfer kit you need a 360 mem card. I dont have one since it has a hard drive. So if you dont have a 360 mem card then the Xport would cost your the same amount as buying the transfer kit and a mem card. The old AR card will not do you any good for getting data onto your X360.
