Alright, guys, so I'm panicking hard here. I bought the game today, I have an official Xbox transfer cable. I downloaded Xplorer beta 6, I believe. I followed the step by step instructions and I do have updated rosters for 2k5, which is awesome...

HOWEVER, when I look at my harddrive from the system dashboard, that's the only data on the harddrive! Now, no harddrive space was freed up during the process, there's still 16 gigs taken, so I'm guessing all my profiles and game saves are still in there, just not accessible or anything? Is there any way I can fix this? I'm mega choked if I just killed all my game saves.

Can you get these into the game using the XChange 360 software along with a memory card or will that not work?

Somebody knows if the NTSC gamesaves works on a 360 PAL ???

I ended up trying this. Yea it's risky cause you lose warranty, but i just decided hell i'll try. Well it worked! My MOBO already has a SATA hook up, so i just unhooked one of my HDD and hook up the xbox HDD. Now I downloaded a couple of different rosters and set ups so i don't have to do it again for a year. Just need a t6 torx and t10 torx. That was the hardest part, finding a place that sold the torx. Finally found one at checker autoparts. Thanks for all the guys that updated the rosters

edit: oh btw i used xport 1.07 to transfer them over.

Thanks this worked for me but with xport 1.12 to transfer them. My xbox360 warranty has been expired for a while so wasn't a worry.

Anyone have any suggestions for me. Here it is.. have my Datel transfer kit plugged in. Light goes blue so I know its on. Have the xport 1.12 version installed but for some reason its not reading my HDD.

I have tried running the xplorer360 and that wont read the HDD either. Now the one thing I know is I could purchase another DATEL kit but I am hoping that you folks know something I dont!! Any help is appreciated!!

I know for Vista if you have User Account Control on, you can't drag and drop and the programs won't read your HDD. For reading the HDD you can right click on the program and select "Run as Administrator." I don't think the same issues exist for XP.

There are also issues surrounding the 20G HDD too, from what I've read...not sure of specific solutions for them though, sorry.

Well, I got the 120gb HD for Christmas and I've been trying all night to get the proper folder on to the HD w/ no luck. XPort won't let me drag & drop. Neither will XPlorer. But at least with Xplorer I can insert some of the files. It always crashes on me when I try to insert "SaveMeta.xbx" and "TYPE" from the randomly numbered folder within the 53450030 folder to the HD.

And to answer questions: On Vista, with the version of XPlorer that has been working for everyone else, in Compatibility Mode and running as Admin. Proper files are being inserted into the proper folders. The sole issue is those last two individual files.

Well i called the 1-800 and tried 8 different times, and each time was a no go i tried everything that people said to try, guess im SOL since i can't afford an xport or xsata at the moment.

I do the inserting method because it won't allow me to drag & drop. I can insert two of the four files just fine, but the other two always cause Explorer to crash on me

Well, apparently I just have to download multiple version of certain files and use different unzipping programs to get the files to agree with Explorer properly

Sounds like a pain. If you haven't already, I'd try turning user account control off in order to allow for drag and drop (much easier).
