The biggest achievement would be player morale. Using a program 'slot machine' to determine issues with players on your team. If the program can use a 'dice system' with the numbers having issues attached to them.
I was thinking if the program was sort've like the Finn Editor, where you can import every player on your team and assemble a few 'codes', it would give you a player's feeling.
By codes, I mean like a successful player like Tom Brady isn't going to ask to be off the team unless he is benched or want more money. So a code to control his morale would limit the random slot.
If I have Marc Bulger as my QB and just bench him over Kyle Boller who is rated lower them him, he is going to have issues.
Things Bulger could say if putting in the 'code' he was benched over a lower rated player:
Marc Bulger: "Dissatisfied- I no longer want to be here."
or.. "Content- I'll just have to prove I can lead this team"
something along those times. and to make it work into the 2K5 video game, using the Finn Editor and since Bulger doesn't want to be there anymore, drop his Consistency down to 0 after the pre-season ends. Jot down his consistency, say he was a 70... and when he is traded or released, just give it back to him. I know it sounds little corny, but its pretty close to realism.
what do you guys think?
