I agree with your point in regard to the cheat cards, but would you also consider additional historic teams &amp; stadiums to be "useless"? Since you would have to play Madden to use them, I'm guessing the answer is yes .
But I'm willing to bet that there are a lot of Madden fans who really like that element of the Madden card system.

to be honest with you I don't care about cards or unlocked stadiums and any already available classic teams are more than enough for me. I don't like playing as all star teams.

With that said, I'm not really excited about getting a big screen tv or decking out a trophy case either. My point was/is I'm still VERY interested in this b/c of the endless stats I'll be able to check out. It's funny how many people say it's pointless and they'll never touch it. I find that hard to believe if you're planning on buying the game. I don't see myself digging deep into the unlockables and things like that but I know I'll be all over the stat tracker.
