A question about cheaters online for ESPN 2K4
I read that they are putting in a 5 minute timer for pausers and will count down and if they do not respond the game will be over and you get the win. Does anyone here thinks 5 minutes might be to long of a wait. Then whos to say they are not gonna unpause with 1 second left on the 5 minute timer just to repause for 5 more minutes.Tags: None -
Re: A question about cheaters online for ESPN 2K4
Yeah, I agree. People will just unpause and re-pause after 4 min and 30 seconds. But what if someone has a legit excuse that they need to take a break for a few minutes (those of you with kids know what I'm talking about).
It's a tough issue to balance. The best thing to do is leave negative feedback and don't play with that dude again. Fill your friends list with honest gamers! -

Re: A question about cheaters online for ESPN 2K4
I don't think it's five minutes per pause. rather, I think it's five minutes of pause time total for the whole game. I read a post on IGN about this yesterday, and it makes a lot of sense. Here it is:

IMO that would be kinda funny if someone would go through all that trouble just to screw someone else overComment

That might be the case. Inside Pitch had the same thing. When you pause it the timers counts down, and if you ever reach the maximum, then you'll have to forfiet.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

It seems like a good system to me. I just hope they fix the "pausing" by getting endless delay of game penalties, or letting it hang at the kickoff.Comment
