I have a Samsung widescreen t.v. that displays 720 natively. When I play a game there is an inch of the screen cut off on both sides. In otherwords, an inch of black on the left and right side of the screen. Is this normal? Thanks.

yeah that is normal for sega games. from what I remember of the 2k3 games, there was always a little bit of empty space on each side. like the xbox is outputting a 16x9 signal but sega seems to be using a 15x9 ratio for the actual game. why? I have no idea.

WSB filled up the screen. THis is a litle oddity with the football game only, I think. I'm still waiting for somebody to post a magic button combination to enable 720p mode or I am going to be really, really pissed.Comment

yea for some reason i can only play it on 420p mode. nba and wsb went to 720 without any problems.
