Am I the only teen-ager that plays the game realisitcally?

It seems like whenever I watch my friends play, they end up throwing for 600 yards on 50 passes, and have like 200 catches in a season with one guy, and win every game by 46, go for it every time, go for two every time, never kick FGs, always onside kick, etc.

I see this a lot personally and just on TV and stuff.

When I play, I get really frustrated if my players are having anything close to insane stats, like in Madden, LT had like 1200 yards 5 games through, so I restarted the season, because it wasn't realisitic. I try to make everything as realisitc as possible, but still be fun. I don't want to make a trade that seems somewhat unfair with the CPU, or sign every FA possible.

I am in the minority I guess.

Yeah most teenagers do that. I was at a friends house when he was playing ncaa and he tried to not save after he lost. Of course I made him save and wondered why he always wanted to win.

It has been a while since I was a teen, but I am with you MSU, I prefer realism. I really don't understand the guys who buy a sim and then play out silly ultra unrealistic results. While these guys kind of annoy me too (I don't know why???) I have noticed that they tend get tired of a game long before I do and I am not so sure they get their money's worth.

Im 17 and i generally try to stick to the realism side, at least when it comes to gameplay itself. I run probably 65% of the time, and this might not make "the highlight reel" it still allows me to win games. Sometimes i will have an insane running game at least in ncaa 2004 and get like 300 yards rushing, but generally i try to play realistically.
