First person mode - online?

I read that you can play 1st person mode online. Is this for both PS2 and Xbox? Also, if you are playing a FPM game online, is it FPM for BOTH teams. Or do you have choice to play 1st person or 3rd person view? Thanks!

On Xbox, at least, you can play FPF online. Both teams are in FPF.

And it is fun. Mad fun.

On offense, you can't see the color circle noting who is under player control. So you have no idea which player your opponent is controlling. And on defense, the player control circle is always under the QB - so there's no tipoff there. either.

It's INSANE online. I don't think I've screamed so much in my life. Or felt so giddy when I finally blasted Fossen's version of McNabb in the back with Tyler Brayton, after 15 consecutive tries.

And to answer a question I had...there is NO pausing online when switching. It's instant, same with passing. So you better get used to it offline, or you're in for a world of hurt. It's hard.
