Boil the disk works. Trust me, I was a doubter until I tried it on one of my demo disks. I than boiled water and placed my ESPN Football in and now it works like a champster!!

Boiling discs is to remedy dirty disc errors and problems with bad drives.

This, I believe, is not the same issue.

Like I said, I've NEVER had a DDE and none of my other games have EVER locked up.

Others are reporting random lockups with ESPN NFL at different parts of the game, on and offline, I'm not talking about that.

This refers to a specific, repeatable (ie. not random, like DDE) error that occurs when I am finished playing on XBL and hit the exit button to leave the game.

but it's not a dirty disc error, it freezes only online..

there are a ton of posts about this already.
For the last time it has nothing to do with launch day XBOX's i have seen it happen on a Xbox bought a week ago.
its a bug in some of the games.
