    3-4 defense

i like using a base 3-4 defense no matter what team i use. how is it implemented in this game? are there a lot of 3-4 plays? are teams that use it as a base D in the NFL well represented (do they play like their real-life counterpart)? does the running game totally dominate it?

I've seen the running game pretty much dominate everything, but it's no worse against the 3-4 than it is against the 4-3, or 5-2 for that matter. If you have an athletic squad of linebackers, you're good to go. Personnel would dictate what you do, but the 3-4 is very functional, at least in my experience.

I'm a big Steelers fan and when I was playing last night, I was glad to see that they have the 3-4 as their base defense. Seemed like there were plenty of plays to choose from, but since I haven't used a team with the 4-3 as their base, I don't have anything to compare it to.

In the game the Browns do not even have the 3-4 as an option, only 4-3, Nickel, and Dime.
