The damn game locks up when I sim preseason games and then I get a Dirty Disk Error from in the game when looking at the rosters. I've heard about the game locking up after online games, but not during the game like mine has. This totally sucks.

If you're getting a DDE, it's your Xbox, not the game that's making it freeze. I had the same thing happen to me. New Xbox, no problems... First gen Xboxes had a problem with the DVD drive. MS doesn't want to admit it, but there is a problem with it. -

I had to drive an hour to Savannah to get the game, and while I was there I was returning a faulty sound card at Circuit City. I took the money from that and bought a new XBOX because the old one had been locking up a lot lately with NCAA and Star Wars: KOTOR. I was trying to avoid picking up a new Box until the price dropped, but I wasn't about to let DDE's keep me from playing this game. And yes, as the person above has said, it's the XBox CD drive causing the offline DDE's, not the game.
EDIT: if this is the only game that gives you DDE's then return it for a new copy. Simple as that. It's a known fact that when games are produced a very small percentage of disks are defective. However, 97% of DDE's are caused by the XBox itself.Comment
