I will go with NCAA. The commentary in NCAA shows more emotion IMO. It sounds like "real" play-by-play and color commentary for the most part. Secondly, how can it be the best game when the cpu is punting or running out the clock when they need a score to win or tie? Where's the drama? But overall, it's still a great game.

This is what it comes down to:

NCAA/ESPN
GRAPHICS 8/10
COMMENTARY 10/9
Gameplay 10/9
Presentation 9/10

If it weren’t for the cpu lack of awareness at the end of games for ESPN, they would just win by the total score above. However, the edge goes to NCAA because there is more drama at the end of games.

I'm keeping both! But if someone came to my house with an uzi and demanded I give up 2 of my 3 football games and I could ONLY keep one period...well I would keep NCAA. Because I know I can play it all year like a crack monkey and STILL not get bored with dynasty.

that's a tough question. i need to play more of ESPN to say it's better than NCAA. NCAA was basically the perfect football game for me and I'm not even a college football fan! The SI feature is amazing. ESPN might win in the end though because of my love for the NFL.

I am a long time lurker & first time poster. I have played nothing but EA football for the past 5 years. Because of the posts here, I decided to trade in Madden 04 for ESPN. Although ESPN has TREMENDOUS presentation, I am still finding the switch a little difficult. NCAA 04 is by far the best game because of the atmosphere-maybe its just the college game is more exciting. I will continue to give ESPN a chance, but so far...NCAA is the best!!!
