Problem with challenging the call

During my game (SF vs. Dallas) yesterday, I challenged a call (spot placement of the ball) on the field and I believe the results of the challenge was incorrect. It was 1st and 10, and Hearst ran the ball for what looked like a first down. The ball was right on the yellow line. The ref called it as 2nd and inches. I challenged the spot of the ball. After further review, the replay showed that the ball barely crossed the 1st down marker. The ref said that the call was overturned... I didn't lose a time-out, but it remained 2nd and inches?!?!?!

They spotted it short originally and the correct call was probably even shorter.

Listen to when the whistle blows, sometimes the knee isn't down but the computer goes when the whisle is blown.

I hope it is fixed next year too but still cool nonetheless.

the only thing i get mad at is when they call pass interference and you arent able to challenge that. Other then that the game is good to go.

True, but that isn't something that you can challenge in real life either. And this game is trying to imitate the real thing.

Pass interference is a "judgement call" and that is hard to tell a computer to just "decide" on the best course of action. It can't be done, the computer has to be programmed into making good and bad calls.

i know but i lost one game online because of a bad call and it made me ...well not actually but know what i mean. Just like in real life, some coaches also wish that they would be allowed to challenge.
