Could have been interpreted as a "didn't have possession of the ball" thing, no idea.

Great observation, I too have encountered challenges during gameplay myself and the cpu, to say the least, I'm satisfied with the ruling and overuling. Great stuff!!!

That's very interesting, almost that of real life ruling of professional sports. Sometimes an unfair ruling? On one note, a thought occured to me whether these overuling has any basis leaning towards home advantage calls.

I really like the challenge mode, how they give you the option to challenge different things on any given play. For instance, on a fumble you can challenge spot of ball or that the ball was even fumbled. very cool, it's like the ref doesn't assume he knows EXACTLY why you threw the red flag.

Also, I was playing with the Lions and forced Jake Plummer to fumble (while he was in throwing motion) with Denver on my 3 yard line (2nd and goal). Denver recovered the fumble on the eight yard line and Shannahan threw the red flag to challenge the fuble. he contended that it was an incomple pass and that Plummer's arm was moving forward.

                  The CPU lost the challenge!

Earlier that same game, my QB fumlbed the same way (hit while throwing), and when I challenged that the QB arm was going forward, I won it!!

Thanks jazz, I am. I won that game 35-28, playing on slider setting that's between Pro and All pro (leaning towards Pro) and 6 minute quarters. I couldn't stop Plummer and the receivers for the first three quarters (until I finally found the right defense) and they couldn't stop Stewart. Finally, what turned the tide was Plummer throwing 2 fourth quarter interceptions.
