yeah, I started calling plays in my play book that I normally never called. My running game is still struggling though. But I do feel like I earned my playoff spot with a 9-7 record.

Re: This game gets harder as the season goes along

I love having to change my tendencies. I played the Bucs, I was 9-5, they were 10-4. I'm fighting for a wildcard spot, and they have clenched their playoff birth. Needless to say, a win here would be huge for my division. Late in the game, after Green runs back a kickoff (after that, my suggested play suggested I kickoff to the other side, love that) I adjust and stop his quick dumpoffs over the middle, and also shut down the running game, I have the ball back down by four, and I notice they are bringing the house on first downs as I usually pass, I also notice that Price and Crumpler are being covered tight, but Finneran is on Barber in single coverage. I scramble with Vick for a few first downs, and finally unleash the adjustment, Finneran on fade routes as I march up the field. This ended with a touchdown strike to Finneran over Barber. The crowd goes quiet, were up by 3 with less than a minute left. After a crucial defensive stop, we run the clock out.

I tend to lock on to my receivers a little too much, so Price and Crumpler get the lion's share of touches. Once I started losing games due to this, I adjusted to hitting Dunn out of the backfield, or Jenkins on out routes for third downs. Seeing them overplay my go to guys, was spine tickling when I saw Finneran in single coverage with a huge height advantage. Excellent AI programming, it really made the win rewarding.

Yeah this is tight. This has to be the first football video game I've played in along time that doesn't make me upset when I lose. I haven't thrown my controller once while playing...and thats saying ALOT!

Its like you just take loss, analyze what you did wrong and make adjustments and thats as Real as it Gets IMO.

I haven't started a franchise yet but I can tell you playing a exhibition game the AL adjust to your plays. If I play with a team that has a good RB, I'll pick mostly running plays. By the time I'll get to the second half I can't run the ball with the same effect I did before. That is not comeback AL, that just the AL adjusting to you offense like bkrich83 said. I like the challenge.
