    How do I edit player attributes?

    I looked and looked but haven't been able to modify player attributes.

          Go to Roster Manager in the Options section of the main menu...then go to the roster (not the depth chart)...choose a player and you'll get a screen that asks if you want to edit or release to Free Acency etc...choose edit... then hit the triangle (pause button on the PS2) to advance through the screens...the first will be information...second and third are appearance and equiptment...last screen is attribute...

          You can only do this outside of Franchise mode...once you load a roster to use in a 'chise it can't be altered until you start a 'new game' by going back out to the main menu and repeating the above...
