    Re: CPU run/pass ratio off?

    Some possibilities and my experiences:
    - Does your teams defense vs. the run, stink in comparison to it's pass defense?
    - How does your franchise defensive stat totals compare: run yardage against vs. pass yardage against?
Is the A.I. perceiving a weakness?
    - Perhaps the team moved all it's pregame sliders to practice running the ball against you, before the game, and thus committed itself to the run, regardless of the outcome.
    - Perhaps the run is perceived as a much more viable than passing against you for either it's strength and/or your defense's weakness?
    --------------------------------------
One thing that I have experienced, if you get burned on the ground in a game, if the next couple of opponents you face have a decent running game, they will pound the ground vs. you until you prove that you can stop the run.
And by "prove that you can stop the run" I do not mean in just that game, but I mean that they may test you for several games.

My run defense is pretty good. Not great but still. Here's a typical stat: Opponent's leading rusher - 29 carries for 85 yards. That doesn't include the backup having around 10 carries and the fullback...it all piles up to around 40 carries. The QB will have like 13 for 20 passing and 136 yards. So my defense is #1 against the pass because nobody passes on me but I'm near last in rush defense for the opposite reason. It's not because my run D is bad, just that they run so damn much that yards are inevitable.

As far as teams sliders setting up for me, I have a hard time believeing that EVERY team is going to play the same grind it out style of offense against me.

I think you're right though that it may be something viable on their part so I'm going to try and bump their passing and catching way up to see what style of offense they play for the next few games. Anyhow this is all a work in progress. I'm sure I'll eventually find my nirvana.
