Not going to get in the flamewar here, but if you play a franchise, you would notice that ratings change EVERY week.

In my Saints franchise, I had Aaron Brooks, Darren Howard, and Charles Grant out for a few weeks and when I played my next game on the matchup screen it had my team with 1 star for both QB and DE. The ratings for a player drop dramatically if they are injured. Brooks was out for about 4 weeks with a leg injury and if you go to the depth chart screen his ratings dropped to numbers all in the 50s in every category.

Gotcha there. I personally am in the 2nd year of my franchise, so I've seen how the ratings can change. But if my pal KGUN wants to tweak sliders, then tweak away. Don't make a guy out to be an anal retentive moron just because he likes accuracy.

just for the hell of it I'm going to add to this post. YEAH, PRIEST HOLMES IS SLOW.... period. His 40 time sucks. Live with it. He runs a 4.72 40 yard dash -- newsflash, he's SLOW. BUT, he does have good acceleration and it in tremendous shape, and is very agile.

Together the complete package of attributes define who a player is. TO ran something like a 4.6 coming out of school. I don't know what he runs now, probably faster, but he's not a burner either, his acceleration, agility, and amazing conditioning make him THAT good.
