McNabb's Passing Stats on Demo Camera Angle

McNabbs Passing Stats after 4 games on Demo Camera Angle

    All-pro Default settings
    12 minute Quarters

    Rating 87.3
    Att/Comp 56-105 53%
    Passing Yards - 759
    Yards Per Att. - 7.2
    Touchdowns - 6
    Interceptions - 2
    Sacks - 6
    Longest Pass - 83 Yards

I posted this to show that even though you can't see your receivers on deep patterns on Demo Camera Angle you still can be effective passing the ball.

You must read the defense before the snap and know your receivers patterns. After the snap you do a quick read of the defense to see if it's zone or someone is blitzing etc. It's all in the timing.

IMO demo camera angle makes for a more realistic game. Also you can play better defense against the run on this setting.

I understand that this is your opinion, and while I respect it, I have to disagree. Yes, you may come out with some realistic stats using that angle. But how much control do you really have over the play's outcome? Sure you can read a defense pre-snap, but a lot of times the defense disguises its coverage, you think man and it's really a zone. Not to mention all the different types of zone coverages. What looks like a gap in the zone before the snap, isn't necessarily going to be open after you drop back to pass.

Depending on the difficulty settings, a player of any skill level can generate realistic stats with any camera angle and maybe even with his eyes closed. But isn't the point of the game to actually be in control and play well? I like the game to generate realistic stats because that represents a balanced game, and "balance" is fun to me.

If playcalling is your thing, I'd suggest playing in Coach Mode and using the Demo Camera. I think the AI will make better decisions than you can considering you can't even see your receivers.

That being said...play the game the way it's most fun for you.
