Re: editing bostons ratings help
Thanks for starting this post and allowing space for a (OT) rant. Being a Charger fans is starting to get frustrating. Without going into the whole Ryan Leaf debacle and staring in 2001, I have one question? What is the deal with this team? They bring in Schottenheimer--good move. They get Tomlinson and Brees--great moves. They pick up some decent role players to fill holes (like Lassiter this year) and there was a lot of talk of a post season berth (heck, they even got a MNF game this year). They get rid of two of the best leaders in the locker room (Seau and Harrison) and do nothing to replace them. Granted they were getting old but going with a completely green secondary is a bad idea. Why not slowly phase these guys out. Then they spend $47 million that could have brought in some defensive veterans and they get David BUST-on, a guy who his previous team had no problem letting go despite his stats. Now the guy is hurt or involved in "conduct detrimental to the team". And, speaking of busts, what about TE Alexander who is always hurt. They spent big money on him too. Then they want San Diego to build them a new stadium or they will move. Hmmm, 0-3, outscored by 30 or so points across that stretch and bencinh your $47 mil acquisition in a division game. Man, I've been following the Texans since last year as a novelty but they may end up being my primary team. At least they are headed in the right direction (albeit with baby steps).
So I have three questions:
1. What do you think about the Chargers this year and give a prediction on their finish (I say 5-11).
2. WHo has the brighter future--them or Houston.
3. And to keep this OT, does anyone know where I can get a FAQ listing playernames for historic teams (I'd like to play a couple of games with the Super Bowl Chargers).Currently playing Axis Football (2020) as the Nebraska Thunder -

Re: editing bostons ratings help
LOL good post.
I hate to see this happen to. One, I'm a Chargers fan. I was really big on them coming into the season, even after losing Seau and Harrison (and signing Bust-on). Two, I *was* a David Boston fan. I'm a Buckeye for life and have always loved the guy. But this year, he's just lost it. Completely lost it. He's a freakin head case who only worries about his "temple" (his body) and could give 2 sh*ts about his team. What a sad season for SD fans. And as far as ratings go, I bumped Boston's durability, consistency, agility and leadership ratings down... bringing him down from a 92 *?* overall to like an 88. How can a dude be agile anymore when he's that freakin big??

"They pick up some decent role players to fill holes (like Lassiter this year) and there was a lot of talk of a post season berth (heck, they even got a MNF game this year)."
And I've got field level (20yd line) seats to that game to watch my Dolphins take the lightning bolts out. Can't wait till Oct. 27th.Comment
