How Can I Get Rid of Michael Irvin and McWild in my Franchise ?

when I saved my franchise they were not the free agent list, then I restart my PS2, load my franchise and they are in teh free agent list ... and I don't want them there !

Why is Irvin a free agent? Hes not even in the game?

A. Edit there ratings to 0's so nobody picks them up.

B. Move just ONE slider and they can't be unlocked in the first place.

DO retired [;ayers afte the 1st season get deleted from everything in a franchise so that they can not be added to a team?
