Re: I\'m getting fed up with Microsoft.

Wait, are we blaming MS because Sega released a game that still does this? That's a tad misguided. MS never promised real-time patching for network coding. I get the impression that VC developed the game for the PS2 and ported it over. For example, last year's game had the word PS2 in the xbox instruction manual. Perhaps the onus falls on VC's talented shoulders for not fixing a glitch they had with their last version of the game. The buck stops at VC as far as I'm concerned. Like it was mentioned, ASB had no problem getting roster updates out.

And good riddance to anyone that wants a free online "service". I'll keep paying, and steer clear from the cheese networks that are free. Let's put that dead horse to rest, either you pay and play, or you dont pay and play elsewhere.

Yeah...I agree...It's Sega's fault for releasing the game with the bug in the first place.

I too think that Sega/VC are at fault. Sure MS wants to check the updates before they go out.. Imagine what would happen if they didnt check patches/fixes/updates and something ruined all of out savegames or something... That would suck.

After this years ESPN NHL game and the bugs that are present in that game, I firmly feel that VC lacks quality control of some kind...

Yes they do. Or they have their resources spread too thin. They are making too many games and don't have the resources to pull them off. So teams are constatnly getting pulled from other games to help finish. I don't know if that's true but SegaSports games in terms of quality and polish are generally quite low. They make a quality product but don't seem to know how to put the icing on the cake.

It's VC's fault there is a bug in the first place, but it's MS' fault they take to long to check crap. Last years NBA 2k3 roster came out like 3 months after it was submited to MS... Now WTF is that crap? If it keeps up like that, I hope they quit making their games online/or their games period for the Xbox until they get it right.
