Re: The Official NFL2k5 Draft Classes Thread
Update: I had to re-upload the draft classes today because of a few major errors. If you downloaded the draft classes between May 3 - May 5 before 4:00 pm eastern time, you might want to download them again so you can have the error free draft classes, which is still attached to my original post.Comment

Re: The Official NFL2k5 Draft Classes Thread
Since you like the draft classes so much, I have a alternate 2004 roster that complement the draft classes. I lowered the ratings of all the players that was out of the NFL within two years of the 2004 season and raised the rating of the guys that still play in the league today. All ratings is on track with the default roster, so there's no over the top ratings you'll have to worry about.
That way, guys like jared allen and jason babin won't be left in free agency after a year or two, while guys who was out of the league in 2005(in real life) will have a higher chance of not making a team roster. I'll post my 2004 roster before the week is out if you're interested.
Also to rickster, i was going to create draft classes for the VC final roster but when i went to export the draft classes that was in my franchise file, it was still 380 players and not 524 like you said. I got the VC final roster from nfl2rosters, so if i'm doing something wrong, can you please help me out, cause i wanted to create draft classes for the VC final roster while I have time to do so.
I'm currently working on the 2012 draft class now(with the help of ravensgamebreaker), but it's going to take awhile before we can finish them. I will try to post the 2012 draft class before the real 2012 preseason starts.Comment

Re: The Official NFL2k5 Draft Classes Thread
Hey guys,
Im having a bit of trouble importing the files using using the 4.0 editor.
Basically, it only lets me upload a .2k5team file-- which isnt in the zip-- when I right click import team in the draft class "team" tab.
Any advice?Comment

Re: The Official NFL2k5 Draft Classes Thread
So I ordered NFL 2k5 a few days ago and it finally came. Now I'm just waiting on my HDD and the transfer cable. I have a question though. Do you have a spread sheet of all the ratings for the players in the draft classes? I ask because I'm very weary of having to use an editor because I don't want to break anything. If I can do everything in game that would be preferable.

Re: The Official NFL2k5 Draft Classes Thread
Hi, I’m really interested in getting historic draft classes for nfl 2k5. I’m looking to get them past 2011 though an I’m willing to make them myself but my question to you is, how do you make these? I’d really love to know so I can help out and make some more of them. But I’m not sure how you do it. So help on this would be amazing if you can tell me.Comment

You can also edit the Draft class in Finn's editor and in NFL2K5Tool.
But (for now) I think it's probably best to edit in game; we can export the data with NFL2K5Tool and in Finn's editor.
Editing Rookie names is a problem for the external editors because the rookie names end up being shared with other players (most of the time). I think it's also possible to run out of space if you add too many names.Comment

Re: The Official NFL2k5 Draft Classes Thread
Thank you for the draft classes!
I just started doing all this editing myself, then decided to scrap it since you had already done most of the work, haha. I will say I've run into trouble with the name-edit limit. After importing the draft class into my franchise, I did some in-game editing on some of the players that got changed (e.g. "Cadillac" Williams became Roy Williams, or something).
Unfortunately, after finishing the HBs and WRs, I hit the limit - "There isn't enough room left in this roster to edit any more names." Does anyone know a workaround? I've searched all over but I couldn't seem to find anything definitive. I tried one of the import/export tricks though it still didn't work.
I should mention I'm playing on PC using the PS2 emulator PCSX2. I still have the game on the original XBOX, but I find it more convenient to use my PC instead of trying to setup another game system. I didn't know if the XBOX suffers from the same limits as the PS2 version, and perhaps that's the better route to take.
Anyway, thanks for your help! And all the work you did. A shame we can't take advantage of it because of name limits.Comment
