Im so close to blocking punts

Does anyone have anymore tips..it seems that i JUST miss the bal;l when i try to block i kick, next time i play im gonna dive and hit the punter...see what happendslol

Don't dive ... you'll get a roughing the punter penalty. I blocked one a while ago because I was lucky enough to get the perfect jump off the LOS. It's a lot easier to block fieldgoals.

I guess you guys don't play too many random people online lol.

In most cases someone comes out in 4-3 and audibles to FG block and uses their fastest CB to get a good jump off the LOS. If you check the replay he's actually offside most of the time but they don't call it. It's actually easier to sack the holder than to hit Y to attempt a block because the defender usually misses the swat on the kick.

You can see footage of a blocked punt on the new nfl2kx site now. I was using the chargers against the rams, just a lucky 'perfect jump off LOS'
