I know that the CPU keeps running if it's succesfull. I know that the CPU scouts you and if you give up run yardage, they will run.
That's the problem here. If you give up one big running game to the CPU, you're doomed. In that game the CPU keeps running cause it's working and will probably run for atleast 200 yards. And doing this they will not get much passing yards cause they're not even trying. The team you play after that sees that you're giving up a lot of run yardage and a little passing and decides to run on you. Now, this team just runs all day and doesn't even know about a passing game. And like this it continues.
The end result: In about 60 plays the CPU will average 45 rushing plays and 15 passing plays. You'll give up at least 150 rushing per game but no more than 100 passing, usually less than 75.
Ridiculous. All the strategy in football is gone when you're on defense cause the run is the only thing. Cause there isn't much complaining about this I suspect that others don't have this problem. Tell me how you get it.
