I played this game on side view the other day just for kicks because I was so bored. It reminded me of playing the old Tecmo Bowl games. But i havent played a football game on sideview since the last Tecmo bowl was released. I did notice a few advantages and disadvantages to this view....
You can see more of the field( well the part of the field that you are spotted at) It helps me see my receivers routes develop more and I can tell how far away the DBs are from my recievers. However you can't really see down field if you trying to go for the long bomb. Also you cant really see whats going on in the pocket because the camera is so far away. But on the bright side I'm having fun with the side view. I miss playing the Tecmo Bowl series more than any other football game and it just gives me the chance to remmember how fun it was playing those games. Any thoughts from anyone who tried this view?
