Tutorial to get NFL 2K5 Up and Running on PC

BE SURE TO WATCH IN HD and FULLSCREEN!!

Here is a short tutorial I did for a member here to help him get his game running good. This game is unstable but does run enough to play a franchise.

I figured I would not let this get lost in the old NFL 2k5 PC thread since it is a tutorial that could be very useful.

This is ran using PCSX2 latest version. You need to have LEGAL copies of BIOS and game, no one supports downloading them.

The description explains how to get into the menus as the tutorial does not cover that part.

Hope this helps some of you guys!

I also can do a short tutorial on how to get updated rosters on this as well if requested.

UPDATE: Here is the short explanation I posted in description.

One thing I did not cover in the video, to get past the intro to even get to the menus do the following:

Delete memory cards on emulator (you create them once you have a save state for the menus)
When the game starts loading (I use controller on PC), soon as the SEGA logo pops up hit X (for PS3) or A (xbox) as fast as you can (it might take a while)
Once past that, it will look for memory card, soon as it pops up a menu yes or no just hit X or A and it will continue without memory card. Once in menus, set it to a save state so all you have to do is go to LOAD then pick Save State #. This will get you started.

I'm not even going to try since my laptop will probably explode haha.

This will definitely help out people who don't want to spend money on a max drive/action replay/etc. Good stuff bruv

Thanks for this, I'll have to give a few of your suggestions a try when I get home tonight.

I've played the game multiple times, but I ALWAYS have that problem of the game freezing on Berman's intro video. I've randomly gotten around it and been able to play before, but there is never any consistency to it. Maybe some of your suggestions will make it easier.

Thanks for the video but it keeps freezing when the game has to load, what are your plugins and bios configuration?

When loading a game, set rendering mode to software instead of hardware, I seem to have better luck getting past Berman's intro this way. Once in game switch back to hardware and you're good to go.

Talk of emulation of any kind is against the OS TOS.
