Won SB on all default settings, yet no reward?!

I'd played this game 99% online for months before I finally came back to it now and decided to start playing a franchise.

So I take my Dolphins and go through the first year and just barely win the Super Bowl against the Seahawks on the last play of the game, a clinching field goal. So I check stats. Nothing. No rewards in Crib Mode, no record of the game.

I played on All-Pro, using default sliders for 5 minute quarters, yet I get no records. What happened? Has anyone seen anything like this before?

I have won the SB twice and have yet to get the hockey table in my Crib.

What is happening here? Is there some obscure setting somewhere to get the damn trophy?

Since you already legitimately won the Super Bowl and can advance to the next difficulty, replay the game on Pro level with no sliders. After you win it, save the game file. You should be able to see the trophy in your trophy case now.

I am about two clicks below All-Pro level. What I do is play the Super Bowl on my skill level settings. If I win it, I quit the game, not saving the file, then I set my settings to Pro, 5 minute quarters, start the game again, score, get ahead, kill the clock and win the game. This gets me my Vince Lombardi Trophy every time. It accomplishes two goals: 1st, I feel a sense of accomplishment because I won the Super Bowl on the level I am ready for, and 2nd, I get the visual reward of the trophy, knowing that I earned it fair and square.

This post is all the more reason for Sega to eliminate the level/slider-specific Super Bowl Trophies. Gamers should get a trophy if they played a complete season and won the Super Bowl, regardless of level.

But DLV, we didn't play the game on adjusted sliders of any kind and still didn't get the trophy. I'm trying to figure what game of malfunction this is wihtin the game where you play on default sliders for everything with five minute quarters, yet still don't get squat.

Is there anything anyone can think of that would cause this?

Well here's a few things to check for
1. did you adjust the penalties
2. Did you turn on multiple hot routes
if so either of those would be your reason for the no show of in the trophy room. It took me 3 times winning to finally realize those had to be set back to factory settings in order to recieve the trophy..hopefully they'll fix this for next year as it seems the trpohy and unlockables where aimed at the casual user who cared less if there stats where super inflated...Damn VC
