Out of bounds, clock still going!

I hate how the clock does not stop when you go out of bounds, except when there's less than two minutes left in the second or fourth quarter. Is there something in the options to change this, or is it just some ******** thing you have to deal with?

It's right the way it is in the game. The NFL changed it a few years ago.
