    That wasn't the answer. What the guy did was just confirm that yes, indeed it is called "accelerated clock". Also, that is the original poster who asked the question.
    But no, I don't think it's in the game, because last year I remember in one of the interviews when asked if the company implemented or would implement in the future the same type of feature as did Madden that year, the guy answered no because they want to keep the game real and authentic and including such a feature would make the experience unreal.

      I think the OS guys who were at E3 said that it was in.

                  Actually, this would DETRACT from realistic clock management. The clock does not all of a sudden change pace in the NFL just because you are walking from the huddle to the LOS. Why should it be so in an NFL video game?

                        For me personally it allows me to play a game using 15 minute quarters with 55-75 plays for each team and not take 3 hours doing it...

                              That's not really what it did. All it did was run the play clock down to 20 quickly before you break the huddle(if you called the play with more than 20 seconds on the play clock), except in the last 2 minutes or so of the half. So that way, a realistic amount of time could be run off the clock between plays without the player having to sit around and wait for it to run off.
