Classic Games Question

I know the mode that lets you play the NFL's 25 greatest games of the past uses the classic rosters, but does it acctually have the real players? Or just similar fake players like last year's classic teams? I figure that maybe they do have the real rosters at least for these 25 different games.

I think you have to edit them, The more recent games might have the actual players if they are still a part of the NFLPA.

another thing about classic games I thought it was the last 25 years for the ESPN anniversery but it has games that are older than 25 years old.
