Am I really missing anything not having the PS2 HDD?
I'm reading x-box and HDD owners talking about how cool the sportscenter highlights/gamecast stuff is so neat, and I'm wondering whether or not it is worth the $100 or so to pick up the HDD? Anyone have any advice about this?

With a hard drive you get full action replays in the Half-time and Post game show. You can also view any play of the game at anytime you wish.Comment

The halftime show is fantastic. Don't forget you need the network adapter to run the hard drive if you don't have it already. Look on ebay to try to find one cheaper. I got a used one from EB.Comment

I payed 25 bones for a used Network Adaptor at Rhino Games. They are real hard to find used though. I think EB sells them 4 32.99.Comment

The halftime/postgame show is something I've been wishing for for years.
The replays of every possession, even after you've passed it, is a dream come true.
That being said, for 100 bucks it isn't really worth it. You aren't missing a much needed feature."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
