    QB Spy defensive option

Has anyone gotten this to work ? I pull the left trigger then select a LB. I then pull the right trigger. When the play starts the LB does whatever he was suppose to do in the play and does not spy the QB. Am I doing something wrong ?

Search is coming back with no matchs on QB or spy.

        Can anyone answer my question.

Won't help him much, he's already doing it properly.

As near as I can tell, the move *should* work at any time, but doesn't. Either that, or the 6 or 7 times I actually went to use it, my LB magically chased McNabb on his own (I played a lot of zones anyway). He shifted a bit over in his zone, but didn't completely abandon it to shadow McNabb's movement (which is what a spy should do). After testing it more this afternoon, I wouldn't completely disbelieve somebody saying it was pure luck. If 5,000 people are having trouble getting a spy to work, and I got it to work (I thought) 6 times, who's more than likely not seeing things clearly?

Chances are it was pure luck, my LB made the play because McNabb ran somewhere near his zone, and not because of a spy working. I've hit the audible time and time again, and it doesn't seem to radically affect the LB's zone. I'm starting to agree with everybody else...that it's not WHAT play you choose. It's just that it doesn't work at all. Which really sucks, considering how fast QB's are across the board this year.

Hey Tombsong i found something on the ESPN boards that might help ya...

Timid over there posted: "Umm, U bring up the Linebacker coverage audible, or whoever U want to spy, click on the letter of the player, and then push the R trigger. Works for me *shrugs*."

                    Hope that helps ya...

I just read a thread about you should pick a zone and I agree with you Tcrouch, QB Spy does NOT appear to be working, I hope someone from VC can come clarify this.

This is a big problem online, Quincy Carter torched me for 130 yards on the ground. I just love playign those types of games (sarcasm).

People are going to cheese like crazy with QB scrambles, QB's are way to fast and the defense doesn't look for them to run on passing plays when a pass d is called.
