Two Questions Regarding Franchise Mode (Players/Contracts)

Hey guys,

1) If I place a guy on injured reserve, what's the advantage? Does his salary get deducted from my team cap space, and I'm able to take the money he'd be getting and invest that into a player who can temporarily replace him for the season?

2) Does unused team cap space for one year carry into another year? For example, if in 04 I have 6 million dollars of un used money, and then in 05 I have 22 million to spend, will the unused 6 million from 04 get added to 05, meaning that now I am able to spend $28 million on contracts instead of $22 mil?

2. No, a different cap is set every season and your teams cap number is determined by how much you are paying players for that season.
