NFL 2K21 PCSX2 1.6.0

Hello,

We haven't seen a full build since the group of Rate Sports guys, bad_al, cmew and others. I still use the settings and other details from those releases. I want to thank tdmavens for the 2K21 roster file and henne407 for continuing to update tdmavens base roster file.

I put together this build for others to enjoy NFL 2K5. While this is not as good as what some of us have come to know by the Rate Sports mod team. This is as close as I could get and I know it will help others!

Hey can anybody help me with this issue I’m having.
When I get to the end of the 1st quarter or the middle of the 2nd. My game crashes. When it crashes it says

“Recover the HDD according to the instruction manual of the HDD”
Does anybody know what this means and what to do?

While I have never encountered this. I would destroy the vhdd > reconfigure dev9/rebuild the vhdd > format the vhdd with uLE boot and test.

I recommend SSD or M2 SSD storage.

Wait, is HDD emulation working? I tried it recently and couldn't get PCSX to recognize it outside of uLE. To clarify, it formatted fine in uLE but 2k5 would never recognize it. I'll give this package a try and see if it works I guess.

*doh* I lost my EROM.BIN at some point; that's probably why it wasn't working.

As an aside, distributing the PS2 BIOS can get you in a LOT of trouble; I'd recommend removing them from the package.

Just downloaded everything and got it set up. Super excited to play some 2K5 again. Thank you all involved in doing this. I'm actually going to start a YouTube Franchise Mode playthrough this week using this. I'll def link this thread if that's okay?

I just downloaded everything and got it set up. The game loads fine, however, I cannot simulate past week 2 of preseason or week 2 of the regular season (with preseason turned off) without it crashing pcsx2.

I don't know what's causing it to crash, but it is unplayable at this point (from a franchise perspective)

Might be the rosters that you're using if not using the default ones.
