I'm not gonna lie, I haven't tried playing online yet >.<

But I meant I'll join a ps2 league.

Wonder if ps3 and ps2 could work together online, because they're both running a ps2 game =o

I know for a fact you can still play 2K5 online with Xbox and Xbox 360. The only thing is that players on Xbox cannot play people on Xbox 360 and vise versa.

I started a game online yesterday eagles vs giants but a little into the first it logged the game out. It was a very choppy game so I'm not sure if it is playable for an entire gm or not but I will try again later on this week.

I tried this briefly when I got my xbox up and running again and it's pretty lame overall. There are some guys hanging on playing online and it seems they know every cheesy trick in the book. Unfortunately, it's just a waste of time.

If 2K/VC wanted to start a little ruckus, they would somehow patch the game to allow online custom rosters. It's definitely possible, MVP05 allowed customs.

Sure you'd run into the occasional idiot who would make every player rated at 100, but you'd also probably see the resurgence of leagues where the same rosters are being used. Used XBoxes would be flying out of the stores and XBL accounts for the XBox1 would start sellling again.

that would be a great idea,I have only played offline..But would love to play human opponents with custom rosters.I have it for 360.
