Alright so I d/l your settings, franchise, and roster, and I finally downloaded finn's editor. The only thing I need to figure out is how to do the -25% thing you speak of. Does anybody mind doing a step-by-step process on how to do these settings?

It was, It makes putting all this time into these rosters worth it. I guess I was kind of just taking in the whole thing instead of focusing on stopping the Saints. We did give them the Rams playbook which I think is the best playbook a CPU team can have. The ending was kind of cool actually better than I expected. Looking forward to defending my title in '09.Comment

Re: JSOU'S 2008-09 Roster Update #1
Quick question, what is finn's editor you speak of? I have your settings and roster and I understand when you say to go to sliders for h block, h pass, etcetera. I just don't know how to subtract 25% in game unless we have to d/l finn's editor or something. I've been searching around the boards and haven't found my answer to what finn's editor exactly is. Thanks for anyone that can reply.
Another thing, when you want to play hum vs hum do we need to change any settings at all since these are settings made for hum vs com?
Btw, thank you Jsou for doing these rosters and putting your time and effort into it.Comment

Re: JSOU'S 2008-09 Roster Update #1
Thank you for answering my questions. I just have one more thing to ask . So I have your franchise file and saved before starting a game onto the hd. Now I want to transfer the save to the xport. When I read the directions on the editor it says I need the action replay. Will I be able to use xport? If so, how will I change it do a zip file so I can start modifying the save. Thank you very much!Comment

Re: JSOU'S 2008-09 Roster Update #1
Check percentage in the type section, then 25 for the amount, then update and your done. Take that roster to the console and start a franchise. Then save it before any games are played (turning of the preseason), then go back into finns editor and set your salary cap and schedule. Then take your file back to the console and you ready to go. Be ready to bring it each week, that is if your using our settings as well.Comment

Re: JSOU'S 2008-09 Roster Update #1
So technically after you finish every week, we have to save the franchise go back to the editor and the coverages will be reset? So I finish a week 1 game save the franchise put it in the editor and subtract the 25% after every game? If that is the case, then it won't affect defensive trades with my team b/c the newly acquired players on defense their coverages will be reset? Sorry if I'm confusing I'm just trying to make sure I'm doing this right.Comment

Re: JSOU'S 2008-09 Roster Update #1
You only need to lower it 25% the first time. It will stay that way from there on out. He meant be ready to bring your "A" game each week, because it will make it much harder to win.
Presumably, it would lower your chances of trading with those guys, since their ratings would be lower.Comment

We don't trade either, not too many trades in the NFL anyway. I'm not saying they don't exist, but they are pretty rare.Comment

Thanks for putting this up, JSOU. I'm new to this (using AR, not the game) and I have a question. What do you mean when you say "set your salary cap and schedule?" I thought they were already on the franchise file. What do I need to change in these two things?
Thanks.
Edit: Sorry, one more question. Are your simmed quarters at 5 mins or 7? thanks again.Last edited by abbeyroad920; 01-07-2009, 12:39 AM.Comment

I suggest you read through the thread before you ask for you help. Often times you will find the answer that you need from someone else's post. Hint hint.Comment
