Thanks for pointing out the dropped games, I didn't forget them but they did just disappear. I tried adding them back in, but they wouldn't remain when I saved.

I also tried to sim a few times, but the game locked up on Week 3 so I was assuming it was the schedule.

I also tried to edit the schedule and save the file, but wasn't able to. I even tried to export and load a previously saved schedule and that didn't work either so seems like there's a lock on it.

this is so great! Thank you, Espn 2k5 just does a better job of building drama as you get closer to the playoffs. This is a dream come true!

Thanks tonybologna, I just used Explorer and I was able to do it. Seems like it is related to Chrome and ABP.

Just uploaded an update with a few player movements, and Bad_Al's schedule with the missing games. I also had to go in and fix some birthdays because some of the players were much too old in the Franchise and were retiring when I moved to the next season. Think I got them all, but let me know if you notice this happening with others.

Awesome work getting all the players in the game!

It's been a really long time since I have used any edited rosters for 2K5, probably hasn't been since version 1 or 2 of FlyingFinn's editor, so I don't know how well editing the contracts works out, but every player's contract is wrong. How does messing with the contracts affect the game?

Here are some things I noticed on the Packers:

Jared Abbredaris college should be changed to Wisconsin
Kennard Backman college should be changed to Alabama-Birmingham
Randall Cobb should be changed to left handed
Ladarius Gunter college should be changed to Miami, FL
Alonzo Harris college should be changed to Louisiana-Lafayette and he is also no longer on the Packers' roster
Brett Hundley college should be changed to UCLA
John Kuhn is now a Free Agent, he likely will not return to the Packers
Clay Matthews college should be changed to USC
Ty Montgomery college should be chaged to Stanford
Andy Mulumba plays for the Chiefs now
Mike Neal is now a Free Agent, he likely will not return to the Packers
Nate Palmer plays for the Titans now and college should be changed to Illinois State
Damarious Randall college should be changed to Arizona State
Sean Richardson has retired due to injury
Aaron Ripkowski college should be changed to Oklahoma
Quinten Rollins college should be changed to Miami, OH
Jake Ryan college should be changed to Michigan
Sam Shields college should be changed to Miami, FL
Joe Thomas college should be changed to South Carolina St
Kyhri Thorton plays for the Lions now and college should be changed to Southern Miss
J.C. Tretter college should be changed to Cornell

I have just updated the files for download with the changes. Thanks Kevin82485 for the info, that's the kind of stuff I need. Many thanks to db56 as well for the Broncos info. I plan on going over all of the rosters in more detail once we get closer to the season and things are a bit more concrete, but this kind of thing will save me a lot of time.

As for the contracts, I tried to set them initially, but I had considered it for a lower salary cap, so I had to shave some off, and just went for ratios. In the franchise though I still had to up the salary cap, and then I have signed some in game and quite honestly, the whole thing is really time consuming so I don't really plan to adjust it any more. If anybody else does, more power to you.

I've been bouncing back and forth between Bill's sliders and Legend difficulty. What sliders do you recommend?

I removed inactive and retired players to add draft picks, that will be used in offensive and defensive rotations (rather than just for special teams before being released) into free agency. I tried to upload the .2k5team file, but it says invalid so I'm going to upload the zip instead and you can extract it yourself if you want to use it or modify it or whatever.

When I load file into roster editor I keep getting possible name corruption. What does this mean? I also cant get game to load with the roster on the hard drive once I've ported it. Is it because of file error, frustrated I can't play with the updated rosters. Can someone help me out??? thanks...
